The first substance is called tramadol, the generic name for ultram. The Acetaminophen
The second component called the acetaminophen which is present also in Tylenol, an analgesic for mild pain but not for inflammation.
Both components as I say work together to have an optimum effect in controlling pain. Acetaminophen helps increase your resistance with pain. It blocks moderate pain signals that flow to the brain. While acetaminophen only blocks the mild signals the tramadol blocks the big pain signals that are flowing towards the brain.
If you have regular pain like arthritis or a sprain, visit your health advisor for medication and he might prescribed you an ultracet. Mostly it should only be taken for five days with a maximum of two tablets for four or six hours. You are not allowed to drink much of this medicine because it may not just make you addicted with it, it may also harm you. You must just take it when needed or for the right time. Quickly stopping from taking the medicine is not good because it can cause withdrawal symptoms that can cause side effects. So better ask your doctor to have it reduce with a lesser rate of withdrawal symptom. You are not allowed to mix ultracet with some other medications because it has also some side effects.
